Did you know that not having s*x in a long time can impact to our body and mind. S*x is not just an act of pleasure, scientists said that it can provides beneficial or energy to our physical, mental and also emotional health.

1. Risk of having a heart attack

Having in mind that s*x is a good cardiovascular exercise, the lack of it can enhance the risk of having a heart attack and even sudden death, especially with women as a research by the University of Tufts has proven.

2. It causes you more stress

Research from the University of Gottingen, Germany, says that the lack of s*x can lead to stress as well as increased stress in the relationship (if you have a partner). Sometimes couples do not reflect that the possible reason for their momentary differences is that they have not had s*x in the last days and that is why they are moody and nervous.

3. Activate the bad temper

According to sexologist Norbert Livinoff the lack of s*x affects people’s mood, especially on a woman (You can say that again…).  After a certain time spent without s*x, women tend to get mood swings, be irrational creatures and they also get nervous yelling at the tiniest thing on their way (like PMS is not enough!).

4. Decrease your self-esteem

The lack of s*x also encourages insecurity in the person (Why is this happening to me? What is wrong with me? Am I ever going to have s*x again?). It soon after undermines our self-esteem and affects every aspect of our everyday life and our relationships. Messy, huh?
